The design patterns of apparel in Qing court mostly inherited from the Ming Dynasty System, while the emperors and the queens used "Twelve Ornaments" in their clothing, which was directly inherited from the apparel in Ming court. But what are the differences of "Twelve Ornaments" between these two dynasties? What were their permutations and combinations in clothing?. In addition to the emperor, what kind of royal members can use "Twelve Ornaments" ? These questions still need to be carefully studied.
