Extruder is one of the important equipment in the production process of polypropylene, its function is melt granulation of fine powder products, so that the polymer is stable, and easy to store and transport. The role of PLC control system in the whole operation of the extruder is equivalent to the human brain, to control the security and stability of each component operation. This paper analyzes the important role of PLC fault alarm to the extruder system, and solving methods for alarm sound issues, thus ensuring the safe and stable operation of the extrusion device.
