西方大学自治与学术自由的悖论及其当下境况 被引量:16

The Paradox and Status Quo between Institutional Autonomy and Academic Freedom

摘要 大学自治与学术自由并不存在逻辑、历史与经验上的必然关联,在特定的境遇中相互间甚至存在着悖论。在如今市场主导的环境中,机构层面被赋予越来越多的自主权,这强化了高校内部的行政力量,反而以多少地牺牲个体意义上的学术自主或自由为代价。因此,在多元主体共同治理已经成为共识的今天,对这种共识及其政策效应持守一种反思立场尤为必要。 Viewed from the logic,historical and empirical perspectives,there is no necessary connection between institutional autonomy and academic freedom. Under certain circumstances,there is paradox between institutional autonomy and academic freedom. In current market-based environment, the universities are endowed with more autonomy,which has reinforced internal administrative power,nevertheless,the individual has lost academic autonomy and freedom in some sense. Therefore,in the era of governance as a consensus,it is particularly necessary and urgent for us to hold a reflective standpoint in the consensus and its policy effect.
