新历史主义小说举着反抗的大旗高调进入文坛,从对历史话语的讲述方式来说他们的确与之前的文学主流迥异,但这种反抗仅仅是被预先阐释的。他们消解一切的写作将欲望作为历史发展的唯一动因,所谓英雄拥有的只是一种缺乏主体意识的荒谬勇气,更多则是小人物的苟且偷生,私人空间的出现也只是给欲望的滋生提供了温床,而爱始终缺席,在这一流派的作品中自由与希望都是虚无的,这些无形中严重损害了反抗话语的真实性与有效性。

New historicism novels are famous for revolt in the literary world. They are different from previous literature mainstream in the way of the historical discourse. But the resistance is just interpretation in advance. The desire of eliminating everything becomes the only motivation of historical development. The so-called heroes have the absurd courage lacking of subjective consciousness. To drag out an ignoble existence is the choice of most common people.The emergence of private space only provides a hotbed of desire. But love is always absent. Freedom and hope are empty in the genre. These shortcomings seriously damaged the authenticity and validity of the utterance potentially.
