摘要
采取问卷调查和访谈相结合的方式,分析了河北省高校英语教师的跨文化交际能力,结果显示河北省教师跨文化交际能力处于良好的水平,较其他四个维度而言,跨文化交际行为这一纬度的平均值最低。被调查者的性别、是否接受过相关培训、是否出过国、与外国人的关系及接触时间长短、职称、受教育程度等是影响跨文化交际能力的主要因素,基于此分析结果,作者提出了加强对英语国家文化知识的学习、注重跨文化交际培训的常态化和课程建设、增加教师出国交流机会、密切与来华外国人的日常接触等提高教师跨文化交际能力的对策。
This research,based on questionnaire and interviews,investigates the Intercultural Communication Competence( ICC) of college English teachers in Hebei Province. The results show that the average ICC is fairly good and the lowest mean score is Behavior,compared with the other four levels. As for its affecting factors,gender,training experience,experience of living abroad,intimacy with foreigners and contact time,professional title,educational background all exert significant influence upon teachers' ICC. Finally,based on data analysis and discussion,four strategies are put forward. They are respectively,enhancement of the cultural knowledge of English-speaking countries,regular training programs as well as their course designs,frequent oversea experiences and close contact with foreigners in China.
