Economic Development, Environmental Pollution and the Health of the Residents: The Research of Cancer Villages Based on Media Analysis

2013年中央政府文件首次承认了"癌症村"现象的存在。通过对2015年(含)之前媒体报道癌症村的新闻资料进行搜集整理,文章首先对癌症村的被曝光时间、主要癌症类型进行了总结,然后对癌症村的污染源进行分析,发现我国癌症村的地域分布与水污染分布、大气污染分布存在一致性,各省份癌症村数量与各省份GDP总量存在正相关关系,但与各省份人均GDP不相关。随后文章对乡镇企业、环保局以及村民等癌症村利益相关方进行了分析,并给出了结论与建议。

In 2013, the central government documents acknowledged the existence of the phenomenon of cancer villages for the first time. By collecting the news of cancer village before 2015, the paper found the law of exposure time of cancer village and the main types of cancer, and found that the geographical distribution of cancer villages and water pollution distribution, distribution of atmospheric pollution existed consistency with the provinces＇ GDP, there is a positive correlation between them, but there is no correlation between the geographical distribution of cancer villages and the distribution of per capita GDP in the provinces. Then this paper analyzed the stakeholders such as township enterprises, the EPA and the villagers, and then gave the conclusions and recommendations.
