新型阻燃聚苯乙烯珠粒的制备与性能研究

摘要 采用自制的2,3-二甲基-2,3-二苯基丁烷(DMDPB)作为协效剂,在传统的溴系阻燃剂的基础上,开发新型阻燃-协效体系。并采用悬浮聚合制备出含DMDPB的阻燃聚苯乙烯珠粒,粒径均一,阻燃效果显著,通过热重分析证实阻燃协效体系可以提高PS的热稳定性,UL-94水平燃烧实验证实加入DMDPB后试样阻燃等级达到UL-94 V1级,扫描电镜结果显示加入DMDPB可以提高炭层的强度,进而提升阻燃性能。 Aimed to construct a novel flame retardant- synergist system,new flame retardant synergist 2,3- dimethyl- 2,3- diphenyl butane( DMDPB) was prepared,new flame retardant synergist system was developed. The PS beads were prepared by suspension polymerization with uniform particle size,and fine flame retardant effect. The novel flame retardant- synergist system can improve heat resistance by thermogravimetric analysis results. The obtained flame-retardant polystyrene beads were expandable polystyrene foam beads with combustion grad achieving UL- 94 V1. The SEM results showed that the addition of DMDPB could increase the strength of char residue and hence further improved the flame retardancy.
