Objective To explore the effect of antibiotic administration and hand hygiene on neonatal bacterial infection. Methods January 2015 2013 to December 2006 the implementation of antibiotics and hand hygiene management of bacteri-al infection in neonates(n=110) as observation group, and selected the former management of bacterial infection in neonates (122 cases) as the control group and compared between the two groups of children with antibiotic use intensity, CRE detec-tion rate and medical personnel hand hygiene compliance. Results in the observation group, the use of antibiotics and CRE detection rate was significantly lower than that of the control group (P〈 0.05), and the implementation of the management of medical staff hand hygiene compliance was significantly higher than that before management (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion strengthening the management of antibiotics and hand hygiene can effectively reduce the use of antibiotics and reduce the proportion of CRE infection in newborn infants and improve the hand hygiene compliance of medical staff.
