耶律倍家族是辽代第一大家族,家族领地在医巫闾地区。耶律倍又是东丹王,而东丹国都城时已迁至辽阳,因此耶律倍及其家族最初主要活动范围在医巫闾地区和东京辽阳府所辖州县。就耶律倍家族的活动范围而言,则又是辽海地区所属范围。故而耶律倍家族及其文化对辽海地区产生了重要影响,进而也影响到了辽朝统治的其它地区。

Yelv bei family is the first big family in Liao Dynasty and the family territory is in Yiwulv area.Yelv bei is the king of Dong Dan country,and Dong Dan state capital has moved to Liaoyang,so the family initial scope of main active range from Yiwulv area to Dongjing-Liaoyang jurisdiction country.In terms of Yelv bei family home scope of activities also belongs to Liao-hai region.Therefore,Yelv bei family and its culture has influence on this area and the rest areas under its rull.
