通过分析《远岸》中主人公加布里埃尔在非洲本地遭受迫害,流散到英国后遭受排挤和压迫,面临身份认同危机,文化选择困境的经历,从后殖民批评视角,解读流散主题,揭露现代流散群体努力寻求身份认证,却屡遭迫害的生存状况,探讨现代流散群体被移入国边缘化,成为身份和文化"他者"的原因。

By analyzing Gabriel＇s experience of establishing his identity and selecting his culture belonging after being persecuted in Africa, this paper aims to interpret the theme of diaspora from the post-colonial perspective and disclose the living conditions of modern diaspora group in seeking identity authentication and to discuss the reason why modern diasporas is marginalized by the immigrant country and being as ＂the other＂ in both identity and culture aspects.
