论文根据图片资源的特点,围绕河北建筑工程学院图书馆自建特色数据库"建苑图库"的建设实践,从数据库建设背景、需求和原则出发,详细阐述了数据库建设的步骤,包括平台构建、图片采集与存储、分类与标引、验收与发布及服务模式等,提出了在图片数据库建设过程中应注意的诸如知识产权保护、人员素质、用户管理及数据更新等问题。

According to the characteristics of pictures and the construction practice of picture database in Library of Hebei University of Architecture, this paper introduced the steps of database construction, including platform construction, picture capture and storage, classification and indexing, acceptance and release and service model from the back-ground, demand and principle of database construction, and put forward some problems that should be paid atten-tion, such as protection of intellectual property rights, personnel quality, user management and data updating.
