According to the current methods as well as their advantages and disadvantages of switchgear fire warning, this paper proposes a fluorescence optical fiber temperature measuring type electric fire monitoring system, explains the working principle of the system whose compositions, the design of several high voltage switchgear installations are introduced in detail, and the advantage and application technology of the system analyzed.
