摘要 不断发展的企业级服务器应用受益于带宽和存储器模块容量的提高。寄存器双列直插存储器(RDIMM)和低负载双列直插存储器模块(LRDIMM)为数据中心企业服务器提供更优的解决方案,RDIMM针对需要更高数据带宽的应用,LRDIMM针对需要更深存储器的应用。随着8Gb DRAM的推出,LRDIMM已提供出色的备选解决方案,能同时满足更深存储器和更高数据带宽需求。尤其是基于8Gb DDR4 DRAM的32GB 2RX4 LRDIMM已证明在服务器内存容量和带宽方面全面超越32GB 2RX4 RDIMM。 Evolving enterprise server applications will benefit from both higher bandwidth and more memory module capacity. RDIMMs and LRDIMMs have provided complementary solutions for data center enterprise servers. RDIMMs are required by higher data bandwidth applications and LRDIMMs are required by deeper memory applications. However, with 8Gb DRAMs, LRDIMMs provide a superior alternative solution for both deeper memory and higher data bandwidth. In particular, 32GB 2RX4 LRDIMMs based on 8Gb DDR4 DRAMs are shown to transcend 32GB 2RX4 RDIMMs in both server memory capacity and bandwidth.
