The heart-to-heart talk, as a method of ideological work and a means of education, is an im- portant way for the ideological and political educators to carry out the ideological work. It has also gradually developed into an art and science. The talk is dealt with from three aspects, the necessity of effective use in ideological and political education, principles and skills in the activity of the talk.
