新中国成立后,新疆本土连环画创作经历了产生、发展、衰落及再兴的过程。尤其是新世纪以来,新疆连续推出了《新疆历史画丛》《"民生新疆"双语画丛》《热爱伟大祖国、建设美好家园》等三套连环画丛书,成为新疆本土连环画创作的一道亮丽的风景线,也标志着新疆本土连环画创作的重新崛起。新疆连环画创作能否抓住契机,再接再厉再发展,关键在于连环画创作队伍的建设。

After the founding of the People＇s Republic of China, Xinjiang local comic creation has experienced the process of generation, development, decline and re-development.
