论赫梯国王铁列平的历史功绩

On the Historical Contributions of Hittite King Telipinu

赫梯国王铁列平及其颁布的敕令受到国内学者们的普遍重视,然而,关注的核心仅限于王位继承法,他在位期间建立起来的对内统治的其他政策和对外交往模式以及其他诸如文献编撰等诸多方面的历史功绩显然被忽略了。实则,铁列平在对内统治方面的贡献绝不限于王位继承法的颁布和实施,诸如内部行政管理甚至文献编撰格式等方面的建树同样具有重要的历史意义;另一方面,他很可能开辟了赫梯国家对外统治的新模式以及国家发展与强大的新战略,避免了赫梯国家的过早夭亡。所以,有必要全面认识和重新评价铁列平国王及这个时期赫梯文明史的发展。

The Edict of Hittite King Telipinu has drawn much academic attention among Chinese scholars.However,the attention has been given merely to the content related to the royal succession,while the other policies he established in his edict concerning internal and foreign affairs,as well as his contribution reflected in other documents,have been obviously neglected.This paper shows that the contribution Telipinu made should not be limited in the aspect of the establishment of royal succession.Telipinu also had important historical roles in the domestic administration and the compilation of documents.In addition,it was possible that he was the one who set up a new pattern of foreign rules and the one who produced a new strategy towards further development and strengthening of the kingdom,which possibly delayed the destruction of Hittite kingdom.Therefore,it is necessary to reappraise Telipinu as a historical figure and the development of Hittite Civilization in his era.
