This paper introduces the application of articulated derrick in UHV line construction.Through illustrating the structure of articulated derrick and ground anchor requirement,it presents some precautions in the application to cup type tower construction,makes the stress analysis of the parts,and defines the infuencing factors of the forces in the construction process.This research provides data reference to applying articulated derrick to cup type tower construction,guaranteeing the safe and smooth UHV construction.
