传统与现代之间:苏南宗族的近代化与上海

Between Tradition and Modernity:Modernization of Clans in Southern Jiangsu Province and Shanghai

本文以苏南常州、无锡等地的宗族为研究重点,通过分析近代以来苏南宗族往上海的迁移情况,研究传统宗族在近代的变迁历程。本文认为近代以来,传统宗族聚居模式开始发生重大的变化,更重要的是,随着社会生活日益多样化,人们交往范围日益广泛,传统的宗法观念、婚姻观念、性别观念都开始发生重大的变化,人们对宗族和家乡的认同感也日益淡泊,宗族社会与现实世界之间的矛盾日益加大,开始出现解体的征兆;另一方面,宗族本身也不断调整和适应,寻找新的发展道路。

This paper focuses on the clans in such regions of southern Jiangsu Province as Changzhou and Wuxi and studies the changes of these traditional clans to analyze their migration to Shanghai since modern times.Since great changes have taken place in patriarchal clan system,marriage and conceptions,people's recognition towards their clan and hometown became increasingly indifferent,leading to the contradictions between lineage society and the actual world.On the other hand,the lineage society also adjusted itself to seek new road of development.
