摘要
纪录片《船政学堂》首次以编年体与共时性兼备、中西文化学者共同讲述的国际化视角,从"人"的角度切入,来讲述船政学堂以及船政毕业生鲜为人知的故事。其叙述特色与旨归表现为:宏大叙事与微观叙事相互结合,再现了"船政学堂"办学的艰难历程与不俗成就;以人物叙事为中心,彰显了"船政学堂"为代表的近代精英的民族情怀;以史鉴今,透过"船政学堂"的办学历史探索近代中国图强的经验与教训。
BoatSchool is the first documentary that shares annalistic style and synchronicity. From the perspective of ＂personality＂ , scholars at home and abroad have been making studies on ＂Boat School＂ and the less-known story of its students. This documentary possesses the following features： a combination of macroscopic and microscopic narration, which vividly reviews the hardships of its running process and brilliant achievements; focusing on ＂personality＂, which shows the national concern of elites from ＂Boat School＂ in latter-day; learning from history, through which we can explore the right way to make China stronger by experience and lessons.
