上海地区不同版本高中英语教材中副词性关联词语的比较研究 被引量:3

摘要 本文是关于上海地区高中英语教材中副词性关联词的研究。上海地区主要使用新世纪版和牛津版高中教材。对两个版本中高一年级(上)教材中副词性关联词语的应用的考察研究发现:新世纪版教材中,出现的副词性关联词种类多,涉及八大类中所有类,且数量多;牛津上海版副词性关联词种类较少且数量少。牛津上海版教材中没有涉及到解释、断言、推理类语义类别。两本教材在表时顺类中,表后时相承关系的副词性关联词“then”出现次数都较多;在表转折类中,表补充和对立关系的副词性关联词“however”出现次数都较多。两版教材中表示“平行\递进”、“转折”关系的基础性副词性关联词的使用频率高。两版教材中都有表示时顺、转折、结果、加合、条件的语义类别,说明副词性关联词语在教材和篇章衔接方面起重要作用,因此,教师应重视这类词的教学。 This paper focuses on the research and study of the usages of adverbial (abbreviated as ACs) in English textbooks types of English-language textbooks-the for senior high school students in Shanghai. There are conjunctions two dominant New Century edition and the Oxford edition, both of which are in wide use at senior high schools in Shanghai. The research shows that, compared with the Oxford edition, the New Century edition involves more ACs both in quantity and type. The New Century edition includes all the eight types of ACs while the Oxford edition involves no use of ACs that express supplementary adversative and assertion. "then", an AC that expresses the late temporal sequence, appears much more frequent in both of the two types of textbooks. Among all the ACs that express the adversative, "however" is used most frequently. The evidence shows that ACs play a significant role in discourse cohesion and they are critical in improving students' comprehensive skills. Thus, ACs should be taken seriously in senior high school English teaching process.
