An Empirical Study on Promoting Critical Thinking through Asynchronous Interactive Learning Activities

在线学习的开展为批判性思维的发展提供了新的契机与研究视角,异步交互作为在线学习活动开展的关键内容,逐渐受到研究者的关注。在相关研究的基础上,本研究界定了在线异步交互学习活动类型,并将异步交互学习活动过程与批判性思维发展要素相融合,构建了促进批判性思维倾向发展的在线异步交互学习活动设计框架。为了验证设计框架的有效性,针对教育技术学82名学生进行了为期3个月的实证研究,研究发现促进批判性思维倾向发展的学习活动设计框架能够较为有效地促进学习者批判性思维倾向的发展,其中,异步交互活动要素中的评价反思和活动任务对批判性思维发展的影响较为显著。

Online learning provide a new opportunity for the development and research perspective of critical thinking. As key con- tent of online learning, asynchronous interaction has attracted researchers＇attention. On the basis of relevant research, this article de- fines online asynchronous interactive learning activities types, and combines asynchronous interactive learning activities with elements of critical thinking, building the framework of online asynchronous interactive learning activities which could improve critical thinking. In order to verify the effectiveness of the design framework, the study has an empirical study on students whose major are Education Technology for 3 month. Study results shows that the framework promote critical thinking development effectively, evaluation and reflec- tion tasks have more significant influence on the development of critical thinking.
