摘要
在互联网时代的背景下,如何让学生既能触摸到信息领域最新发展的技术,又能饶有兴趣地学习相对乏味的信息论与编码理论的基础知识,是"信息论与编码"课程教学成败的关键点。本文从丰富教学内容和教学方法的角度出发,探讨课程教学中的新思路。以讲授"自然语言的熵"为实例,展示了如何拓展教科书中的基础知识,使学生们了解最新的科技成果,进一步激发学生的学习兴趣;结合Matlab的通信系统工具箱,生动形象地将理论知识与应用仿真结合起来,使学生们进一步理解和掌握课堂知识。教学实践表明这种教学安排能够取得较好的教学效果。
Under the background of the age of the Internet, how to let the students not only touch the latest development in the field of information technology, but also learn the basic theory of information theory and coding, is the key factor in the teaching of information theory and coding. This paper discusses the new idea in teaching courses from the perspective of teaching content and teaching methods. Taking ‘natural language＇ as an example, the paper shows how to expand the basic knowledge of textbooks. So students can understand the latest scientific and technological achievements. Their interests in studying are further stimulated. Based on Matlab communication system toolbox, the theory and simulation are combined for students to further understand the knowledge. Teaching practice shows that this arrangement has achieved better results.
