Insight China, published in June 2016 China marks its Cultural Heritage Day on the second Saturday of June every year. This year＇s Cultural Heritage Day fell on June l l. The theme of this year＇s event was ＂blending cultural heritage with modern life.＂ China has more than 4,000 museums, and most of China＇s large cities have their own museums. By July 2015, China had 48 world cultural heritage sites. China also has a large number of items of intangible cultural heritage.
