Three Personal Views on the Examination and Admission System Reform

从教育面临的挑战出发,提出关于考试招生制度改革的三个观点:第一,看得见的分数不一定能够保证公平,因为家庭教育投入存在巨大差异;第二,包括分数在内的综合评价不一定不能保证公平,因为顶尖大学有选拔适合培养的学生的标准;第三,一个不完全依赖于分数的招生录取制度并非一定会引发大面积的腐败。

This article discusses three personal views on the examination and admission system reform in the context of the challenges confronting education： first, visible scores might not necessarily ensure fairness because of the big gaps existed in the family education input; second, the comprehensive assessment might not be ensure fairness because top universities use unique criteria for selecting ideal students; third, nor might it trigger largescale corruption to admit students based merely partially on visible scores.
