Fang Jing is one of the key figures in The Sequel to Wu Mi's Diary,not only for a long time but also with high frequency.Fang Jing is a famous modern poet,an educator with true qualities of poet,and Wu Mi's colleague and leader.Due to the influence of special situation,status,personality and so on,Wu Mi and Fang Jing communicated in various ways with rich contents and direct effects.Their communication was that between friends and colleagues,either by chance,special visits,gift presenting or at various conferences.The contents of their communication include to seek political guidance,to talk about cultural celebrities,to consult each other's opinions,involving political and personal matters.These contacts not only solved some practical problems faced by Wu Mi,but also helped Wu Mi to enrich the spiritual solace.The communication between Fang Jing and Wu Mi not only shows the temperament and disposition of Wu Mi,but also shows the personality and morality of Fang Jing,and reflects the typical characteristics of the association between the party's leading cadres and intellectuals since the founding of the PRC.
