Contemporary Doctor-patient Relationship Explained from Confucian Ethics of Life

儒家思想在中国传统文化的五千多年的发展中闪烁着耀眼的光芒,儒家思想对中国文化、意识形态和风俗习惯等等都烙上了深深的印记,它围绕着"仁"的精神,并结合前人的伦理诉求提出了一系列道德规范和行为准则。"己所不欲,勿施于人"不仅仅暗示着人权思想也包含着深刻的生命伦理思想。关怀原则和仁慈原则在孟子的"仁者爱人"学说中被明显的体现出来。行医者治病救人的全过程生动地呈现出了儒家另一个重要观点——"医乃仁术"。当代医务工作者应该时时刻刻地把"医乃仁术"在心中打上深刻烙印,只可行善不可作恶,以"仁"为本,为医学和改善医患关系尽一份自己的力量。

Confucianism, with more than 5 thousand years history in Chinese traditional culture, has a deep influence in Chinese culture, ideology custom and so on. Revolving the spirit of ＂ benevolence＂ and combining predecessors＇ ethical appeal, it puts forward a series of moral rules and behavior standards. ＂Do not do to others what you would not have them do to you＂ does not only imply the thought of human rights but also contains the idea of bioethics. ＂The benevolent loves others＂, in which the principle of care and benevolence manifested is the life of human moral ethics. The whole process of doctors＇ curing and saving people＇s life vividly presents another Confucius idea- ＂ Medicine is humanity＂. All the contemporary medical workers should always keep ＂ Medicine is humanity＂ in mind deeply and remember that they should only doing good never doing evil. We should be based on benevolence so as to make effort to medicine and improvement of doctor-patient relationship.
