摘要
等级观念是传统乐论的主要内容,《声无哀乐论》极力否认音乐与等级的同一性。传统乐论认为,"乐由心生",因此,乐可以被用作统治工具来进行等级教化。《声无哀乐论》从玄学视角出发,对传统乐论进行了全方位的批判,主要体现在对儒家音乐之"和",以及音乐功能的批判上,在承认乐教有移风易俗作用的同时,表达了音乐不能进行等级教化的政治主张,也就否定了音乐的政治统治工具论的论调。
