东西方学术思维的比较透析——兼论重树中国传统之必要

The Comparative Study of Academic Thoughts in the East and the West:the Necessity of Restoring Chinese Tradition

西方的学术中总以"主义"来名一家思想,其本质是以一种极端的学术理论来重点突出某一思想或者视角,这常常容易陷入绝对化的泥潭,使得西方学术呈现各种主义理论和理论间的激烈论争,成为一种学术发展的常态。中国古代的学术则淡化个别的主义,而是讲求融会贯通。这种差异的原因在于东西方学术思维的根本不同。西方讲求理性严密和科学的理论构架,而东方学术则讲求感性的整体体悟。当今社会,科学主义主导的西方学术掌握着绝对的学术霸权,要树立一个民族的话语权,同时也恢复传统的东方思维和东方学术,则很有必要重树中国传统的学术样式,提倡传统文化。这需要现实的实践支撑,主要在于现代媒体的引导,需要现代媒体精神的整体革新。

In the Western academia, ＂doctrine＂ is often used to bring a thought into prominence. Its essence is using certain extreme academic theory to highlight some thought or perspective. In this way, the Western academia is always easy to be absolute and filled with intense debates between various theories and the theory, which becomes normal state in an academic development. Chinese ancient academia pays attention to achieving mastery through a comprehensive study of the subject instead of emphasizing certain individual the- ory. The cause of the discrepancy lies in the radical differences between academic thoughts in the East and the West. In the West, the rational preciseness of the scientific theoretical framework is emphasized, while in the East, the sensibility of the whole is stressed. Nowadays, the Western academia dominated by science holds the absolute hegemony. Therefore, in order to set up the discursive power of a nation and restore the traditional Eastern thought and academia, it is very necessary to restore the traditional Chinese academic style and advocate the traditional culture. This restoration needs realistic practice support, especially from the guide of modern media and the overall innovation of the modern media spirit.
