中国共产党历来十分重视从严治党。作为中国工人阶级、中国人民和中华民族的先锋队,要永远保持其先进性和纯洁性,并带领中国人民在本世纪末实现中华民族伟大复兴的艰巨而又光荣的历史使命,就必须全面从严治党。在社会转型和全面深化改革的关键时期,党面临着严峻的"四大考验"和"四大危险",只有在"严"字上下足功夫,严密构建铁的纪律与规矩,严格遵守和执行党纪党规,才能转危为安,化险为夷。
