论方剂的对称性

Discussion on Symmetry of Prescription

对称是事物在结构、功能、空间、时间等方面的一种普遍对应现象和联系,对称性普遍存在于自然界和自然科学中。作为自然科学的中医学也存在着对称性,而方剂作为中医辨证论治的主要工具之一同样存在着对称性。提出方剂对称性的表现形式主要有同方对称和异方对称两种,而二者的对应关系均主要表现为配伍对称、功效对称、主治病证对称。认为方剂对称性的作用及意义主要有有利于阐释方剂的结构及组方意义、有利于推演和扩大方剂的主治病证、有利于指导方剂的推演和创制新方。

Symmetry is a common correspondence phenomenon and connection among things on the aspects of structure,function,space,time,etc. Symmetry generally exists in natural world and natural science. Chinese medicine,included in natural science,also has symmetry. Prescription,as one of the main tools of treatment based on syndrome differentiation,also has symmetry. The authors propose that the patterns of manifestation of prescription symmetry mainly include two types,symmetry in one prescription and symmetry in different prescriptions. The corresponding relationship of the two types both mainly manifests as concerted application symmetry,effect symmetry,as well as disease and syndrome mainly treated symmetry. The authors holds that the function and significance of prescription symmetry mainly includes that it is beneficial in explaining the structure and composing significance of prescription,it is in favor of deducing and expanding the disease and syndrome mainly treated of prescription,as well as it is helpful in guiding prescription deduction and creating new prescription.
