数字化领域的中国传统音乐资源元数据设计

Meta Data Design of Chinese Traditional Musical Resources in the Digital Field

元数据是管理音乐信息资源的基石。现有音乐元数据标准,如MARC、DC等,在资源内容描述体系构建方面仍待完善,尤其针对中国传统音乐文化资源采集时,其基本功能更显缺乏。目前中国传统音乐信息资源元数据研究还存在着不能融通国外音乐资源元数据标准体系、不能关照音乐艺术本体属性和文化属性、不能进行科学规范和控制等问题。这些问题都需要借鉴国外经验,按照音乐艺术规律和数据库技术要求来解决。通过对中国传统音乐信息资源的功能化区分,搭建完善的音乐资源元数据基本框架,将音乐资源的描述体系分为艺术本体信息、文化属性信息、载体介质信息、数字化信息和记录管理信息等五个模型,以此设计较为科学合理的元数据标准,对于中国传统音乐基础资源数据库的建设和音乐文化资源数字化工作具有重要意义。

Meta data is the cornerstone of the musical information resources management. Current musical meta data standards, such as MARC, DC, still need further improvement in terms of the construction of recourse content description system and the basic functions of these standards are insufficient when collecting the Chinese traditional musical cultural resources. Nowadays problems are noticed in the meta data studies of Chinese traditional musical information resources, such as the disconnection of foreign musical resources me- ta data standard system to that in China, disregard of the nature of music art entity and its cultural attributes, and dysfunction of scientific regulation and control, etc. All these problems need approaches learnt from foreign experiences and measures in line with the principle of musical art and the requirement of data base techniques. In order to design comparatively scientific and rational meta data standards for the construction of Chinese traditional music basic resources data base and the digitalization of music cultural resources, several approaches are proposed as following： to construct a complete basic framework of the musical resources meta data by functional distinction of Chinese traditional musical information resources; and to classify the descriptive system of the musical resources into five models, namely art entity information, cultural attribute information, vehicle media information, digital information and recording management information.
