Analysis on Preventive Maintenance Methods to Seal Type Asphalt Pavement

封层型沥青路面预养护法是路面初期养护时最常用的方法。结合杭州地区多条国省干线预防性养护试验,总结各个封层型沥青路面的预养护方法,以及主要功能与特点、适用条件,通过对比选择合适的预养护方法给出建议,并指出封层型预养护法可大大降低路面全寿命周期养护费用。

Seal type preventive maintenance method of asphalt pavement is the most common strategy during the initial maintenance.This paper summarizes different seal type methods to preventive maintenance on the basis of preventive maintenance tests of multiple national & provincial main lines in Hangzhou area,and analyzes their functions,characteristics & application conditions.It suggests a specific choice of the preventive maintenance strategy by comparing the merit and demerit of different types,and it points out that seal type methods of preventive maintenance can significantly reduce the maintenance costs during the pavement whole life cycle.
