Tang Cao railway project is an important measure that meet the needs of economic and social development of Tangshan city and boost Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development. This paper shows that Tang Cao railway construction aim at adapting to the rapid passenger demand between Caofeidian and Tangshan as well as to Beijing and enhancing the transport capacity of Caofeidian Port. It states Tang Cao railway project investment and operational programs, and analyzed the main disadvantages of the programs, and finally proposes improvement measures and suggestions.
