在全球电梯技术快速发展，电梯制造和服务业市场持续稳定增长的形势下，2016中国国际电梯展览会于5月10-13日以空前的规模在国家会展中心（上海）举行。此次展会总面积13．5万m2，国内外展商近1200家，再次证明了中国国际电梯展览会是全球最大的电梯专业展览会。众多来自国际和国内的电梯和零部件供应商云集展会，在4天的展会期间各大展商向观众展示了他们最新的产品和技术。
Under the circumstances of the rapid development of elevator technology and sustainable steady growth of elevator manufacturing and service business, the World Elevator ＆ Escalator Expo 2016 was held at National Exhibition and Convention Center （Shanghai） from 10 to 13 May, 2016 on an unprecedented scale, with total exhibition space of 135 000 square meters and 1 200 exhibitors. Being the global largest of its kind, the four-day World Elevator ＆ Escalator Expo 2016 gathered all the major elevator and escalator system and component suppliers worldwide, displaying their latest technologies and products. There were over 120 000 professional visitors and the multitude of renowned elevator experts from ISO/TC178, CEN/TC10, ASME A17 and SAC/TC196 attending this expo. Dozens of release conferences of new products and technologies and more than 20 technical seminars were held concurrently on the world most advanced, forefront technologies and products. The topics n this expo fooused on the elevator theme of safety and reliability.
