The Cultural Analysis of CCTV-9 Folk Documentary Translation in Perspective of Skopos Theory

民俗文化体现了华夏民族的文化身份,是中国文化不可或缺的重要组成部分。然而,全球化的文化背景导致了中国民俗文化的边缘化。在这种情形下,中央电视台纪录片频道(CCTV-9)的民俗文化纪录片为国外游客了解中国本土化民俗文化提供了新的平台。基于德国功能理论派的目的论,从文化视角来解读CCTV-9民俗纪录片中的翻译策略,以便让国外游客走进中国的民俗文化,更好地接受中国的"俗",从而促进中西文化的交流和发展。

The Chinese folk culture, as a symbol of national identity, is an essential part of Chinese culture. However,folk culture is being marginalized by cultural globalization. Under such circumstances, CCTV-9 folk documentaries will serve as better access to Chinese folk culture for foreign tourists. This paper, based on the Skopos Theory, will analyze the translation strategies of CCTV-9 folk documentaries, which enables foreign tourists to better understand and accept Chinese folk culture, thus facilitating the cultural communications and development between China and Western countries.
