新建地方本科高校法治化管理与学科发展关系问题——法律英语专业建设的制度视角

The relationship between rule of law and major development of newly-built universities——From the perspective of institution in Legal English major construction

依法治校是当前高校管理的重要方式,新建地方本科院校也纷纷引入法治化手段规范管理,以促进学校发展。法律英语是地方本科院校的特色专业,对法治化管理与法律英语专业发展之间的关系进行研究,发现法治化管理对该学科发展的促进作用微弱。规则制定不是依法治校的终点,高校法治化管理既要求立法者不断审视立法质量,也要求其关注法律的执行。

Rule of law in college management is one of the hot topics, and newly-built local universities also introduce the means of rule of law to regulate their own internal behaviors and improve university development. Legal English is the characteristic specialty in newly-built local universities. The analysis of the relationship between the management and Legal English professional development under the rule of law with samples found out that rule of law management is not so helpful in the advancement of majors. Rule of law is a process, and it requires the rule makers to constantly examine the quality of laws, and at the same time focus on the implementation of laws.
