电子邮件比传统书信更加方便、快捷,其用语更为简单、自然、人性化。美国语言学家Grice提出的合作原则在语言学界受到高度关注,其各项准则对于现代电子邮件的写作指导作用显著。在讲求效率的商务活动中遵循数量准则与质量准则显得尤为重要,遵循方式准则能保证所传递信息条理清楚、准确到位,而在一些特殊场合不遵循合作原则往往能起到不同的交流效果,同样也能达到商务沟通的目的。

The Cooperative Principle, proposed by American linguist Grice, has received great attention in the field of linguistics, and it can provide a significant instruction on email writing. It is very important to follow the Quantity and Quality Maxims in business activities; following the Manner Maxim can ensure clear and accurate information; while in some special occasions, disobeying the Cooperative Principle can often play different effects and also achieve the purpose of business communication.
