铬与2型糖尿病

摘要 Cr^3+是人类及动物必须的微量元素,是葡萄糖耐量因子的中心活性成分,与2型糖尿病有密切的联系.研究表明,铬缺乏可能是2型糖尿病发生、发展的一种危险因素.2型糖尿病患者的血铬浓度明显低于健康人,对糖尿病患者进行铬剂补充能够改善胰岛素敏感性,增强胰岛β细胞的功能活性,进而改善糖、脂代谢状况.Cr^3+化合物作为营养补充剂已广泛用于2型糖尿病的临床治疗. Trivalent chromium,an essential trace element for human and animals,is an active component of glucose tolerance factor,which is closely related to type 2 diabetes.Studies indicated,trivalent chromium deficiency may be considered as a possible risk factor in the occurrence and development of type 2 diabetes.Serum chromium concentration in type 2 diabetic patients was lower than that in healthy population,and chromium supplements could improve insulin sensitivity,enhance the function of islet β cells,ultimately affect glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with diabetes.Trivalent chromium compound has beenwidely used in the clinical treatment of type 2 diabetes as a dietary supplement.
