摘要
本研究通过对14391名9至15岁儿童的问卷调查,考察了儿童自我概念的发展特点,探讨了自我概念对英语学习效能感的影响。结果表明:(1)儿童自我概念在9-15岁这一阶段总体上呈下降趋势,自9岁至11岁发展比较平缓,12岁开始呈快速下降趋势;(2)流动儿童与普通儿童、独生子女与非独生子女、不同性别的儿童自我概念整体发展态势相同,但均存在显著差异;(3)自我概念总分、学业自我、非学业自我及其七个因子均与英语学习效能感显著相关,学业自我概念对英语学习效能感的预测力明显高于非学业自我概念。
This study, by using questionnaires to survey 14391 children aged 9 - 15, aims to explore the development of children' s self-concept, as well as the effect of their self-concept on their English learning seff-efficacy. The results show the following: (1) The sell-concept of the children aged 9- 15 tended to descend, with those aged 9-11 tending to have a mild change in their self-concept but those aged 12 or above starting to decline rapidly in their self-concept; (2) there were a significant difference in the development of self-concept between the migrant children and the non-migrant children, between the only children and the non-only children, and between the boys and the girls, respectively; and (3) significant correlations were discovered between their English learning self-efficacy and their self-concept, academic self-concept and non-academic self-concept.
