摘要
自1972年Lakoff提出模糊限制语这一概念以来,模糊限制语便成了学术界的热门话题。本文基于Hyland对英语科技论文中模糊限制语的分析研究理论,以10篇选自Sciencedirect的英语科技论文和10篇江苏大学学生在"三国三校"大型国际研讨会中的参赛论文为语料,对其中讨论部分所出现的模糊限制语的类别、数量、及其语用功能进行对比分析讨论,以期学科新手们能从中得到启示。
Since Lakoff proposed the concept of hedging, the hedging has become the hot topic in the academy. This paper selects 10 papers from Science Direct which are written by experts and 10 papers from Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium which are written by students, discussing the hedging in the part of discussion in paper which includes the variety, the number and the pragmatic function and making some comparison. The student writers should get some enlightenment from this paper.
