“Etiquette”and“Matter”:An Analysis on the Survival Mechanism of the System and Practice of Folk Beliefs——With Special Emphasis on Wazi Village in Central Shandong Province

在鲁中洼子村的信仰体系与实践中,"礼"是人们建构信仰体系的内在逻辑,而"事儿"则是信仰实践的原因和动力。作为村落文化传统的"礼"与村民现实生活中的"事儿"在相互作用中,共同促使村落信仰不断地展现出新的内容,焕发出新的意义,二者的互动正是信仰得以常在常新的关键因素。

Based on the perspective of the villagers and using the vernacular language,this article explains the survival mechanism of the system and practice of the beliefs in Wazi Village in Shandong Province.The conclusion is that,'etiquette'as Wazi Village's cultural tradition and'matter'in daily life interact with each other and they work together to continuously develop the folk beliefs with new content and new significance.The interaction between etiquette and matter is the key for the development of folk beliefs.
