The Participation Level and Position in Global Value Chains of China's High-tech Industries

摘要文章基于WIOD数据,利用WWZ方法对中国高技术产业全球价值链(GVC)进行分解,并据此测算和分析其在全球价值链中的参与程度和地位演变特征。结果表明:(1)中国高技术产业出口中的国内增加值(DVA)比重呈现明显下降趋势,说明参与GVC程度在不断提升。(2)中国高技术产业中以最终品出口的国外增加值(FVA_FIN)显著高于以中间品出口的国外增加值(FVA_INT),主要是从事进口零部件进行最终品加工组装生产活动。(3)中国高技术产业价值链变得越来越长,国际分工程度要明显高于国内分工。(4)中国高技术产业前向垂直专业化率(VS1)要明显低于后向垂直专业化率(VS),其主要是以后向方式参与GVC。(5)中国高技术产业位于GVC中相对下游位置,具有明显的阶段性特征。 According to WWZ model,the paper analyzes the participation levels and position in global value chain( GVC) of China's High- tech industries using world input-output database( WIOD). Our studies indicate the followings:( 1) The domestic valueadded( DVA) share in exports of China's High-tech industries presents a downward trend from 1995 to 2011. It means that the participation level in GVC is rising for China's High-tech industries.( 2) China' s High-tech industries which are dominated by foreign value-added( FVA) in final goods mainly engage in final assembling activities.( 3) The GVC of China' s High-tech industries are getting longer,and the levels of international division for China' s High-tech industries are significantly higher than that of national division.( 4) The ways of participation in GVC of Chinese manufacturing are mainly backward,because vertical specialization of backward-linkage( VS) is higher forward-linkage( VS1).( 5) The GVC of China's High-tech industries which are the downstream is characterized by obvious stages.
