摘要
大数据环境的形成,使图书情报学(LIS)专业教育对数据管理(Digital Management)的关注度越来越高。本文通过访问各校官网,以高校图书情报学专业教育排名为主要依据,对中美两国30所高校LIS教育中数据管理项目的开展状况进行了调研。分析发现中美两国在数据管理教育项目的培养目标、培养模式、项目类型和课程设置等方面都存在较明显差异。笔者从整体发展状况来看,中国在数据管理教育方面明显落后于美国,针对存在的差距,我们从培养目标、培养模式、培养项目和课程设置四个方面提出了相应的建议。
The big data era makes the library and Information Science(LIS) professional education focus increasingly on digital management. In this paper, we study the digital management programs in 30 universities through the offi cial website of the LIS schools(based on the ranking of LIS major). The analysis reveals obvious differences in the training objectives, training mode, project type and curricula setting in the digital management education of the two countries. Overall, the authors fi nd the digital management education in China is lagging behind the United States. Aiming at narrowing the existing gap, we put forward some suggestions in the aforementioned four aspects.
