摘要
安世高译经使中国佛学趋于独立,但仍不离道术;支谶及其再传弟子支谦译经奠定了佛学依附玄学的基础。康僧会译经兼收众长,借用儒家话语体系以儒释佛,使佛教自觉服务于主流思想,有效地遏制了信众与朝廷走向对立的可能,从而实现了佛教中国化的新突破。自此,佛教开始公开、积极地向士大夫阶层传播。
An Shigao's translation for Buddhist sutras impelled Chinese Buddhology to be more independent but it still attached to Taoism and magic arts. The translated Buddhist sutras of Zhi Chen and Zhi Qian laid the foundation of Chinese Buddhology, which be: came attaching to metaphysics instead. Kang Senghui's translated Buddhist sutras absorbed widely from others' strong points and bor- rowed the discourse of Confucius, which made Buddhism voluntarily serve China's mainstream ideology and effectively curbed the pos- sibilities of the contrary state between Buddhist believers and government. Therefore, new breakthroughs were made in the process of lo- calization of Buddhism in China and Buddhism started to spread publicly and actively in the scholar-officials class from then.
