抗战时期,日本军国主义者企图从中国历史的发展演变中寻找其侵略行为的"合理性",并提出了"大东亚主义""中国社会停滞论"和"中国社会外铄论"等一系列侵华理论。中国学者对此进行了针锋相对的批驳。这不仅有力挫败了日本侵略者从文化上征服中国的企图,而且大大增强了中华民族的自尊心和自信心。

During the period of the Anti-Japanese war, The Japanese militarism attempted to seek the rationality of its aggressive behavior from the development of Chinese history, and put forward a series of theories of aggression against China, such as the Greater East Asia, Chinese social stagnation theory and China social externalization theory. Chinese scholars had carried out tit for tat criticism. It not only foiled the Japanese invaders＇ scheme for the conquest of culture, but also enhanced self-esteem and self-confidence of the Chinese nation.
