Objective:To investigate the growth and neurodevelopmental outcome of offspring achieved by Assisted reproductive technology(ART),and provide theoretical guidance for further clinical applications of ARTs. Methods:Offspring achieved by ART in our reproductive center were recruited between January 2009 and December 2013 as experimental group. Meanwhile, natural born offspring were randomly selected the same period as control group. Eliminate potential interference from marital status, family income, parents education and so on external factors with completely randomized design. In order to compare perinatal outcomes and the long-term physical and neurological development of the two groups, clinical cases were retrospective analysed while relevant offspring were recalled for investigation. To investigate the growth and neurodevelopmenta1 outcome of offspring born by ART,and provide theoretical guidance for further clinical applications of ART. Results:The ART group offspring in cesarean delivery rate, gemellary pregnancy rate, premature rate and low birth weight rate were higher than that of group natural born children;however, there were no statistically difference between the two groups in long-term physical and neurological development. Conclusion:There were no statistically difference in long-term physical and neurological development between assisted reproductive technology conceived offspring and natural born children.
