Re-reading Guo Shuchun's A New Collation of the Nine Chapters on Mathematical Arts

《九章筭术新校》在作者原来《九章筭术汇校》增补版的基础上又有了新的进展,主要表现为:(1)发现并增添了新的版本;(2)对每一条校勘重新做了精心的加工整理;(3)提出了许多新的创见。

This article is a book review of A New Collation of the Nine Chapters on Mathemati- cal Arts. The book includes several new developments on the basis of another book by the author Collected Collations of the Nine Chapters on Mathematical Arts, which was published ten years ago. They are （ 1 ） locating and increasing some new editions ; （2） meticulously rewriting a lot of collative entries ; （3） putting forward many new ideas.
