锋面气旋概念的缘起、发展和社会实践的关系

A Study on the Evolution of Front Cyclone Theory and Its Relations with Weather Forecast Practice

回顾了19世纪气象学处于萌芽阶段时人们是如何逐渐认识中纬度气旋和锋面概念的,并对20世纪初V.皮叶克尼斯提出的极锋理论、当时的时代背景,以及之后的不断改进进行了介绍和讨论,最后指出极锋理论的出现和不断完善是人们在实践中不断创造和不断检验的结果,是现代气象学最终成为一门科学的重要基石。

The basic concepts of frontal cyclone,which emerged in the late 19 th century,and the polar front theory,which came from the Bergen School in the early 20 th century,are comprehensively reviewed in this paper.The discovery and continuous development of the Norwegian cyclone model were resulted from the weather forecast practice and field work in meteorological research.It ultimately formatted meteorology as a kind of sciences.
