Determination of 16 Carcinogenic Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Coal Tar Pitch by Column Chromatography and High Performance Liquid Chromatography

摘要 建立了高效液相色谱测定煤沥青甲苯抽提液中16种美国环境保护署(EPA)重点监控多环芳烃(PAHs)含量的方法。以Agilent PAHs色谱柱为分离柱,不同比例混合的乙腈和水作流动相进行梯度洗脱,紫外检测器检测,16种PAHs的线性范围为0.5~20 mg/L,相对标准偏差小于2%,加标回收率为83.7%~98.9%。对两种不同来源的煤沥青进行分析,结果显示,两种煤沥青中16种PAHs的含量分别为107.89 g/kg和103.04 g/kg,其中苯并[a]芘含量分别为11.86 g/kg和13.85 g/kg。该方法可用于不同种煤沥青中致癌性PAHs的准确测定。 A new HPLC method was developed for the determination of 16 carcinogenic polycyclic ar- omatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) which are monitored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in the extracts from coal tar pitch(CTP) with toluene. The separation of 16 analytes was performed on an Agilent PAHs chromatographic column, using acetonitrile - water with different rati- os as mobile phase by gradient elution. The elute from the column was detected with ultraviolet detec- tor. The linear range of the method was in the range of 0. 5 - 20 mg/L, and the recoveries of 16 PAHs were in the range of 83.7% -98.9% with relative standard deviations(RSDs) less than 2% . The method was applied in the detection of 16 PAHs in two sources of CTPs. The results showed that the contents of 16 carcinogenic PAHs in two CTPs were 107.89 g/kg and 103.04 g/kg, and the benzo[a] pyrene contents in two CTPs were 11.86 g/kg and 13.85 g/kg, respectively. Experi- ments showed that this method could be applied in the determination of 16 carcinogenic PAHs in dif- ferent kinds of CTPs with satisfactory results.
