Overview of Modern Research of Pneumonia in the Elderly

老年肺炎是老年人呼吸系统的常见病、多发病,主要指老年人(年龄>65岁)因细菌、病毒、支原体、真菌等各种病原体引起的肺部感染性疾病。该文通过对相关文献的搜集、整理、分析,从流行病学、发病机制、临床特点、病原学变化、临床治疗等方面总结老年肺炎的特点。

The pneumonia in the elderly is a common disease, frequently-occurring disease of the respiratory system, mainly referring to pulmonary infectious diseases of the ealderly （ age〉65 years old ） caused by various pathogens, such as bacteria, fungus, virus, mycoplasma, etc. Through collecting, arranging, and analyzing related literature, this article summarize the characteristics of pneumonia in the elderly from aspects of epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical characteristics, etiological change and clinical treatment.
